‘Afghanistan Needs You': ‘BellBottom’ Actor Qais Khan Is Heartbroken With Taliban Controlling His Homeland Afghanistan

Actor Qais Khan is all geared up for the release of his upcoming Bollywood movie Bellbottom. The actor is making his debut with Akshay Kumar. His first stint as an actor that everyone praised was Apple TV’s 

Born in Afghanistan Qais and his family had to move Belgium after the Taliban rose to power.

Qhan's love for acting made him complete his schooling, and he studied in an international film and theatre school. In Akshay's Bellbottom, Qais will be seen as Kazini, a government official. 

In an interview with Free Press Journal, he opened up on his Bollywood debut. He was quoted in a report as saying, 

I was always focused on doing international projects. But one day, my mother told me that she would consider me a real actor if I do a Bollywood movie. Then I asked my agents to get me some auditions, and that's how I got the role.

He said, "Please pray for them as they need all the prayers, donate any amount you can to legit organizations that are currently helping the needy but most importantly, raise your voice through social media because the world needs to know what is happening to the poor people" he adds.
